ISKCON’s Annadan in Hyderabad has benefitted more than 10 lakh people in the last two years. The main goal of ISKCON’s free food distribution program in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Medchal is to alleviate the poverty of the underprivileged communities by serving them sanctified food.
ISKCON has setup kitchens all over the country and in partnership with government agencies and police is feeding more than 4 lakh affected people daily. During the Covid pandemic, ISKCON served over 70 crore plates of meals. In Hyderabad, ISKCON served more than 2 lakh people in this period.
