A new cow shed is being constructed at ISKCON Medchal’s Goshala to help serve the Cows better. This would be the third shed at the Goshala and can house nearly 45 Cows.
The foundation and civil work for this project began in January 2020 but had to be halted during the COVID19 pandemic. The work restarted in October and is progressing in full swing. As of 30th October, the flooring foundation work using granites and cement has been completed. In the next phase, the actual flooring will be built.
Learning from past experiences, this new shed has a more open design and sturdy materials to prolong the life of the shed. This new addition to the Goshala is expected to be inaugurated in mid-November 2020.
HELP NEEDED
While we have donors coming forward for the superstructure, we still have some gaps to cover in order to finish this shed. We sincerely request your kind support to help complete the final stages. Please come forward for this service to Govinda and Gau Mata. Details of various sevas available are listed below.
1. Painting the entire Goshala: Rs 1,20,001
This donation would help cover the expense to repaint the entire Goshala including the feeding area.
2. Fencing the new shed: Rs 85,001
As a part of the open design, the Goshala would be rope free so that Cows can walk without hinderance. For this, we need to fence the Goshala using iron pipes which are painted and welded into pillars.
