Goshala Expansion

Krishna with cowsThe Krishna Balarama Goshala at ISKCON Medchal (Hyderabad Farm) started as a humble attempt to serve the Cows (Gomata) in the Hyderabad region (known for its Cow slaughterhouses) with just three cows. It has today become one of the biggest in the city with 150 cows, bulls and calves where each one of them is treated as a family member and cared for their entire natural life along with a healthy diet. Over the years, the Goshala has helped prevent over two dozen cows from being slaughtered and served as a home for injured and disabled cows.

The cows need your help!

The current Goshala shed has reached it is maximum capacity and is becoming congested. In order to take care of the cows nicely and make them feel comfortable, we have begun the construction of a new shed adjacent to the existing one. As the photographs below show, the work of Goshala foundation, erecting the pillar and the shed roof is completed. We hope to complete the new shed by Rama Navami (April) 2020.

We still need Rs 5,00,000 (Five lakhs) to complete this new shed and the boundary wall. Please donate generously by clicking on any of the below amount.

We seek your kind support in the service of Gomata and request you to donate towards the cow shed. Please come forward and receive the blessings of Lord Govinda and Gomata. All donations are 80G exempt.
